About Saxon Enterprises
Direct. Experienced. No overhead, no account managers, no templated solutions.
Bill Leonard — Founder
21 years as an IT consultant and developer. The work has spanned municipal bond management systems, identity and access management (IAM/IGA), workflow automation, and custom web applications for financial services firms. I also taught computer science at the community college level and have served as IT Manager for a municipal bond company — which is where the hands-on understanding of financial workflows and compliance pressure comes from.
Saxon Enterprises is a one-person operation. No account managers, no sales team, no project managers sitting between you and the developer. You work directly with me. That means faster decisions, no communication overhead, and a clear line of accountability from assessment to delivery.
The approach is straightforward: assess first, then build only what solves the actual problem. I offer my opinion and best practices, have a discussion, and we decide together. I am not interested in building systems that are bigger or more complex than the problem requires. Most clients come in with spreadsheets, email chains, and manual approval processes that create compliance risk — the goal is to replace those with something controlled, auditable, and maintainable.
The technical stack is stable and practical: Node.js, Next.js, Docker, and identity governance principles built in from day one. Access controls are not an afterthought. If you have a workflow that existing software cannot handle and a real operational problem to solve, that is the work I take on.
